Wind is almost constant on Sark, being a small island out in the ocean. I'm amazed there are any trees at all, they're so buffeted, and many do get uprooted in gales. This line of trees looked as though they may blow away but they were firmly rooted. The paper on which I was painting, on the other hand, did blow away frequently!
